About Cynthia Scalisi

was founded in 1985 by Cynthia (Cyndy) Scalisi. As a certified paralegal with a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Cyndy had been operating a successful documentation preparation service specializing in bankruptcies. When she decided to incorporate tax return preparation into her services, she knew she had found her calling.
Cyndy's Professional Education & Training
Cyndy went on to invest in her education to become an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). After passing the rigorous two-day examination, Cyndy was admitted to practice before the IRS in 2002. She is now a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute and has her accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation. Cyndy is also a Notary Public and a member of the National Society of Accounts.
Cyndy's Professional Affiliations
Cyndy is a member of the National Society of Enrolled Agents and has served as the president of the Channel Islands Chapter of the California Society of Enrolled Agents from which she received the Enrolled Agent of the Year award. Additionally, she has served as the state director of the California Society of Enrolled Agents.
Having been awarded the Tax Professional of the Year in 2007, over the years, Cyndy has taught many courses on bankruptcy and taxation. She has even written articles on taxation for Consumer Reports.
